The main rope I use is Jute. I can also work in Hemp, white cotton, and sisal.

Jute is a plant commonly found growing in India. Its fibres are used to make the rope.

Yes, they can. However, like anything left permanently outside, it will weather.

That is completely dependent on what weather they receive. Sunlight will lighten the ropes. Rain will cause the ropes to turn silvery grey, like English oak garden furniture.  

Inside, they will last indefinitely. Outdoors, again, it is subject to the weather. They will not come undone or rot, but will just change colour.

If it is displayed indoors your wreath will not change at all. If it is displayed outdoors it will age similar to English oak garden furniture. It will grey over time, and the ropes may loosen slightly, but this is all part of the natural process.

It's the same wreath, they can all be used indoors or outdoors. The only difference is that outdoors they'll weather and age beautifully like English oak, while indoors they'll stay the same colour.

The standard size frames are:

Circle : 15, 30, 40, 45, & 50cm

Hearts : 25, 35, 45, & 65cm

Stars : 25, 35, 45, & 65cm

The finished wreaths vary by 2 to 8cm depending on the thickness of the rope. Measurements are taken edge to edge and top to bottom (as these are handmade, sizes can vary slightly).

There are some new sizes and shapes coming, so watch this space! If you need a very specific measurement, please get in touch.

It is very easy to add and remove different embellishments for different seasons – they should be weather appropriate if used outside. They can be simply tied on around the rope and frame.

Yes of course. Add anything pretty, decorative, sentimental or all three, from your own house or garden. Fresh flowers will need to go in a small vessel containing water – the size of a test tube for example. Any decorations should be tied on around the rope and frame.

All of the wreaths are supplied with a rope hanging loop. These are generally 5-10cm in length.

If you need your hanging loop in a specific size, or you don’t want a loop at all, please just get in touch.

If it is dry, it can be put away and stored indefinitely. You must make sure it is totaly dry before storage as it is a natural fibre or it could rot away if left damp.

Yes. All wreaths come gift-wrapped and in a gifting box, please ask if you wish a message to be included

Yes! Hearts are very often requested for weddings, and I can accommodate bulk orders with enough notice.

They're lovely for wedding venue decoration, whether styled by yourself or your florist. Brides often buy them to style their own wedding, then keep them as a lasting memory afterwards.

They also make wonderful, long-lasting wedding gifts or keepsakes after the big day.
