The Garden

Based in the heart of rural Lincolnshire, my cutting garden is my haven - just a short stroll through our orchard and where I spend most of my days. Digging, cultivating and preparing countryside flowers to use in my rustic flower arrangements and bouquets which I sell at local craft markets and through specialist shops in the county.

The Flowers

Each year I plan new blooms to grow and I'm like a kid at Christmas when my flower bulb brochures arrive. I choose my colour palettes carefully and like blousy countryside blooms that you'd find in a traditional country garden. These flowers help shape my style as I select only the best of the season to go into my arrangements, wreaths and bouquets.

My Approach

With a background as a chemistry teacher, I take a scientific approach to growing. My mind is abuzz with ways to help my flowers grow more beautifully, have longevity and be at their absolute best when cut.

Working with the soil not only soothes my scientific tendencies but my soul too. When I teach workshops, I not only want to tell you the best way to grow you blooms and arrange them, but how to get the best out of them too.

Where To Buy

I don't have a shop but you'll find me at seasonal fairs and events all year round - my events page has all the latest details for these and my floral workshops.

If you would like me to create you something special for an event or gift then reach me via my contact page. You pick the style and I'll pick the stems.

You might get some inspiration from my flower portfolio too.

Why Locally Grown?

Ever wondered where your flowers come from? Consider how far those pretty stems have flown to get to you?

Well, often your flowers may have come rather a long way gathering plenty of air miles and ageing as they do.

My flowers are cut, conditioned, arranged and delivered to you as freshly as if you'd picked them from your own garden. I'm a proud member of Flowers from the Farm and part of a movement of growers championing locally grown, seasonal flowers.

This way the blooms you buy will be fresher and last longer - pretty much what we all want from our flowers right?
